Amazon has announced that several new popular networks will soon be available on the Fire TV. The new network apps coming soon include FOX NOW and FXNOW. Poker Central, a brand new network set to premiere on October 1st, will be streaming Poker tournments 24/7 when it arrives on the Fire TV. Lastly, Turner Classic Movies will also be releasing a new Fire TV app. No word on when these apps will be released and whether or not they will also be available on the Fire TV Stick, but existing Fire TV owners can probably expect a surge of new apps coming to their devices once the next-generation Fire TV is released.
Good news. Just need Vudu now, and I may no longer need my Roku.
I want TBS, TWC and Fox News that live streams.
There’s a CBS news stream, but ya, Fox News would be nice.
If only Watch TCM didn’t require a cable subscription. It was the only channel I really felt regret for losing after cancelling cable.
+1 for a real Fox News app. It wouldn’t be difficult to just port the regular Android app to the Fire TV, and then dump the piece of useless garbage they call a “Fox News app” that we’re stuck with now.
Great news for FX The Strain fans. Fire tv is the best media player.
On the other side of the Atlantic, I’d like to see All 4, ITV Player and UKTV Play arrive on the box.
FX now for fire tv yay simpsons
Will fx now come to first gen fire tv or only the new ones?
