I read somewhere that only application data goes on an USB drive and the cache goes on internal storage like the old 2G FTV Box. Is this true?
If true can I install the entire app, data and cache using Remote ADB Shell?

Too bad the 50% off (up to $15) Chase UR point offer doesn’t stack with the Amazon trade in offer 20% off + $3 AMZ gift card. Would have had me at ~ $10 Amazon!
At ~ $20 I’ll wait and see if I can catch a crazy offer/bundle. I’m sure there will be other offers allowing opportunity to get this for ~ $20.
I’m enjoying TV again thanks to the smooth, responsive performance of the Max. The original Fire TV Cube is the most disappointing device I’ve purchased in many years. No amount of wiping/reloading or updates made it tolerable.
