Final version of Kodi 17.4 released with several bug fixes

The Kodi team has released the finished version of Kodi 17.4. They’re still hard at work on Kodi v18, which will bring some new features, but in the meantime, they’ve released this new incremental update to address some bugs in the latest public version. The easiest way to install or update to the new version on a Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, or Fire TV Edition television is to use myDownloader app and enter in the URL field.

  1. AFTVnews says:

If you have connection issues with in my Downloader app, it means you were served a bad mirror. Try instead.

  2. Doug says:

When I tried Kodi Version 17, I couldn’t for the life of me get it to see my SMB shares on my mac mini. Previously, i had gotten around the OSX/SMB compatibility issues by using the App SMBUP, but this did not work on Kodi 17. Does anyone know if this issue was resolved? Also is this Kodi app able do 24fps playback on the FireTV now? I know previously, was only available on SPMC, (but then was broken by a firetv update) but thought the main version was scheduled to catch up with this.
