Amazon is offering 4 months Free of Amazon Music Unlimited to Echo device owners as part of their Super Bowl deals. This offer is supposed to be for “new subscribers only,” but if you tried Music Unlimited in the past and but are not a current subscriber, you likely will qualify for the deal. After you go through the sign up process, check the Amazon Music Subscription Settings for your account to verify when your free trial ends. It should say something like “your Unlimited subscription will renew at $0.00,” which indicates you’ll receive the extra free months.
Nope never works for me after one trial I’m cut off
I get an error stating that “This promotion is invalid”
The promotion is not valid.
I guess we are back to those bogus Black Friday deals. Really stop posting this crap. I am sick of these fake deals only for new subs. Post deals that anyone even current or past subs can get.
i just tried it it got activated
Sadly these promos are never available outside the US, you’d think they want more clients.
Apparently not available in the US either ;)
Yes I also forgot about non US residence.
If you are going to post these fake deals but in the title in bold like this
[New Subscribers US Only]Echo device owners get 4 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for Free
then I know not to bother
I think they’d give the trial even if you’re outside the United States (you can just select US in your country settings) but they won’t give you the trial if you don’t have a payment method (card) with a US based address. Funny thing, if you buy something they don’t care where your card is from.
I got two months free – after having my previous 3 free months just expire Jan 31.
Woohoo!!
By clicking on the link in the email? Weird
I’m an Echo device (multiple) owner, Prime member, and am not a current or recent Amazon Music paid subscriber, though I had one of their music subscription promotions a year or so ago.
I tried the promotion link today and got a screen with red text that says – ! The promotion is not valid. So it did not work for me either. And I’m in the U.S. with U.S. address and U.S. payment methods on record.
BTW, I’ve noticed for a while now, Amazon also seems to have discontinued their former $2.99 or $3.99 a month discounted promotion to Amazon Music for a plan where you could only use it on a single Echo device. I mean, at least for would-be new subscribers.
I never see any listing of that Echo only plan for Amazon music whenever I check their music subscription options, including today. That was the type of paid Amazon music subscription I had in the past.
I see it everywhere. these links, in my account, etc.
It was never (that i remember) part of the free trial.

When I sign in to my Prime account and go to check Prime Music pricing, such as with this latest promotion, there’s no single device plan shown to me.
The only choices I get are yearly or monthly for individual and family plans.
That may be because I had a paid single device Echo subscription before, and then canceled it after some months.
Have you tried to ask on the Alexa device directly using “Alexa, tell me about Music Unlimited” or “Alexa,
try Amazon Music Unlimited.”?
Apple Music is terrible anyway missing many albums. I love Apple Music and staying with that after trying all the other services.
Edit I meant Amazon music is terrible.
It worked for me and I’ve had a trial offer before.
…or you could just purchase albums and listen to them on a CD player. Give it a try, you just might like it!
I did that with a few albums one recent bought 1986 album but I convert them to AAC and put away the CD’s.
