Disney Plus has announced that they will be increasing their subscription price from $6.99/month to $7.99/month in March 2021. The annual price will also be increasing at that time, from $69.99/year to $79.99/year. The bundle that includes Disney Plus, Hulu with ads, and ESPN Plus is also increasing from $12.99/month to $13.99/month. The $18.99/month three-way bundle that includes the ad-free version of Hulu is staying at $18.99/month. These new prices will affect all subscribers when their next bill comes around after March of next year, so if you subscribe to the $69.99 annual plan between now and March, you’ll be unaffected for a year.
Ugh!! And another jack up their prices.
It was only a matter of time, Disney+ was competitively priced for what they offered compared to other services. Now I have a decision to make: I’ve been getting Disney+ FREE through Verizon until end of February. Verizon will only allow me to pay the monthly rate after that. Must decide whether to go all in on a new stand alone account and pay the yearly rate to keep costs in check. I don’t watch it…the rest of the family does.
Just reread this post…Does anyone know when in March the rate goes up, March 1 or March 30? My free prom ends on February 28 so I need to make a “game day decision” !!!
LOL I knew it
So since I just paid $69.99 this month (February 2021) do I have to pay the new $79.99 next month? If not, whew! I don’t have to pay it till February 2022
