CNN has released their CNNgo app on the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. The app’s pending arrival was revealed last month when CNN updated their activation website to include an option for the Fire TV prior to there being a Fire TV app available. The app features a live stream of the cable news channels 24/7 coverage, as well as full length on-demand episodes for many of the network’s shows. You will need to activate the app with a participating cable or satellite subscription before viewing either the live stream or full length on-demand content. What you don’t need to activate the app to view are the numerous shorter clips available through the app. Expect to see the occasional pre-roll ad here and there when viewing on-demand clips. The CNNgo app is compatible with all Fire TV and Fire TV Stick models, new or old, and works with either Fire OS 3 or 5.

works for me using Directv login. It does have CNN international and HLN live streams.
It doesn’t work for me on Shaw. After successfully entering the auth code, it’s stuck on “Loading…” until I exit out.
I’m having the same problem. I have not yet gotten it to work successfully. Always gets stuck “loading…”
Works great with Verizon Fios, it’s not readily apparent(look on the apps left info bar) but you do get 3 different Live HD CNN Channels: CNN, CNN World and CNN Headline News as well as VOD. A welcome addition to FTV!
I installed it today and it will not load. Just a little red square going round and round. I activated it, launched it and no GO!
I was having the same issue, deleted it from fire stick, reloaded, activated from Xfinity, works fine.
Congo does not work on firetv when you try to activate you need a cable company to do so. You are posting wrong information

The app is just fine on FireTV, except that the arrows and enter button don’t work. In other words, it’s virtually useless.

The CNNgo app does not work when you click on CNN Live on Firestick. CNN Live, HLN, and CNN International boxes have a picture of a padlock on them. When I click on the CNN Live box a window opens and request that I sign in with my TV Provider. I click on AT&T U-verse to activate it and another window opens that reads” “We’re sorry we cannot process your request at this time. This is ‘ALWAYS’ the message that I receive when I click on the AT&T U-verse provider box to activate the app. AT&T has assured me that it is not a problem on their end; it is CNN’s inability to activate their app.
