Two games that you probably know and love, R-Type and R-Type II, have just been released for the Amazon Fire TV. R-Type perfected the side scrolling shoot-em-up space game genre when it was originally released to arcades in the late 80’s. You can now relive your childhood frustration with R-Type, or experience this challenging game for the first time, on the Fire TV. If you don’t have a game controller, you’ll be limited to playing R-Type, since the sequel does require a game controller.
