Tetris, the classic game we all know and love, is currently FREE. This is game is regularly $4.99 and this is the first time this game has ever been offered for free. This is a great port of the classic to suite the Fire TV. The game has been specifically made to work well on the Fire TV, and not just a conversion of the tablet version.

The game has now been updated to be “Free-to-Play”, meaning it’s free to download but requires an in-app purchase to unlock the full version.

what about those that paid for this app in the past? are we screwed and now half to also pay via an in-app upgrade to simply keep the full version we already paid for? seems like a mess
I was wondering the same thing. I purchased it back in June when it was $1.99. I just installed it on a new Fire TV and it seems to be the full version. Either the pay-to-play version isn’t being pushed yet, or it knows I bought the full version.
