Terraria, an action-adventure sandbox game, has just gone on sale for $2.99. The game currently sits as the 10th best selling app in the Amazon Appstore, making it the second most popular paid game on the Fire TV, second only to Minecraft, and the most popular game on the Fire TV Stick. It has a 4.1 out of 5 star rating with nearly 4,000 reviews. Terraria is often touted as a 2D Minecraft, but with less emphasis on building and more on emphasis on fighting, adventure, and discovery. The game is compatible with both the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, but requires a game controller which just today came back in stock.
