Star Drift, a horizontally scrolling space shooter, has just gone Free. This is the first time this game has ever been free. This game is being offered for free as part of Verizon’s Thanksgetting Giveaway, where select apps, books, music, and videos are being given away on Amazon. Star Drift is inspired by classic space games like R-Type where you navigate your space craft from left to right while shooting down enemies, dodging projectiles, and upgrading your weaponry. The game is compatible with all Fire TV devices, including the Fire TV Stick. The game says it only works with a remote, but will likely work with a game controller as well.
