    Seems like a money grab game with poor mechanics that try to force users to do iap. Reviews are pretty terrible.

    Jason, thanks for the comment. I’m not going to waste the time (or money, even though it’s only a buck) on this one.

    I’d love to see permissions and adware included in the description for AFTVNews App Deals. Apps aren’t worth it, even if they’re free or a buck, if they present serious privacy issues.

    Quoted from a review by Amazon user JJCEO:
    “Permissions:
    * Read phone status and identity
    * Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
    * Find accounts on device
    * Full network access
    * Google Play billing service
    * Amazon InApp Billing
    * Receive data from the internet
    * View network connections
    * View WIFI connections
    * Pair with Bluetooth devices
    * Control vibration
    * Prevent tablet from sleeping

    This app can use Non-Ad push notifications (Pushwoosh) to your device and it can access your accounts. It contains the adware Tapjoy. It uses Flurry Analytics, Amazon Insights and Google Analytics to track your game behavior to notify the developer where you are in the game to assist in the push notifications. It uses BrainTree and Fortumo to assist in using your credit cards to accept payment and any one of payment methods to sell you IAPs. It contains Facebook code built into the app but you still have to allow access to your account. It includes Google Cloud Messaging to send you messages to your smart device. It is normally harmless but it can be used to include spamming.

    The app installed 14.68MB into my device memory and 55.88MB onto my SD card memory automatically.”
