Headlines – RSS Feed Reader for TV has just gone free. This is the first time this app has ever been offered for free. The app’s developer tells me the price will go back up after the first week of March. Headlines just went through a large overhaul with many new features. It allows you to read news articles from RSS feeds right on your Fire TV device. It even displays trending Twitter topics and a weather feed. The app is compatible with all Fire TV and Fire TV stick models except the 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick, but hopefully that will be corrected soon. It works with either a remote or game controller.
