Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, of Top Gear fame, have finally settled on a name for their new motoring show at Amazon. The new show will be called The Grand Tour. “Thing is,” said Jeremy Clarkson, “We’ll be travelling the world hosting each episode in a different country, from a giant tent. It’s a sort of ‘grand tour,’ if you like. So we’ve decided to call it ‘The Grand Tour.’” Amazon picked up the trio after the BBC chose not to renew Clarkson’s contract due to an altercation where he assaulted a member of the production team. The new show is filming its pre-recorded segments now and will premiere this fall for Amazon Prime members. The portions of the show filmed in front of a studio audience will be filmed later this year. The new travelling format of the show means fans around the world will have the chance to be in the audience when tickets are released through a sweepstakes this summer.
