Amazon will have Alexa-exclusive deals for Prime members through the holidays [Expired]

Amazon has announced that starting today, and continuing through the holidays, there will be Alexa-exclusive deals that are only available to Prime members. It’s not clear how often the Alexa-exclusive deals will change, but if Alexa’s Prime Day deals are any indication, these exclusive deals will likely be some of the best ones Amazon offers this holiday shopping season. Thankfully though, unlike on Prime Day, these Alexa-exclusive deals will be available to Fire TV and Fire TV Stick owners. The deals will also be available through the recently launched Alexa feature on Fire tablets.

To hear about some of the deals, you can say “Alexa, what are your deals” to any Alexa-enabled device. To see all deals, and to know the exact phrase to say to order them, you’ll need to check Amazon’s Alexa deals page.

There is currently also an additional promotion that will credit the first 25,000 shoppers who buy one of the Alexa-exclusive deal with a $5 electronic gift card. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to know ahead of time if your purchase will earn you the $5 credit.

The Alexa-exclusive deals are currently:

It’s worth noting that the discount you receive by ordering through Alexa will stack with any other discounts available. For example, if you order the Thai Kitchen Organic Coconut Milk, the 25% off coupon that is currently available will automatically combine with the 35% off Alexa deal, for a total of 60% off. Remember, after asking Alexa to order something, you can say “No” when she asks you to confirm the order and then add the item to your Amazon cart through the Alexa app. This will allow you to checkout through Amazon’s website or app and still get the Alexa discount. Placing your order this way helps ensure all the discounts you expect to be present are applied.

nice, assuming this update is actually out before Xmas. I’m bummed that the update to include Alexa integration is not showing up on my Fire HD 8!

Didn’t get the discount on the Brother P-Touch Labeler when ordering through my Echo. Sent customer service an email. Sigh. If I didn’t even get the discount, not going to hold my breath for the $5 gift card.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I ordered the coconut milk using my 2nd Gen AFTV this morning and got a six pack for free.

Total price she quoted was $0.00 after a promotional credit of $13.49.

I think Alexa is having a few items like this, but free coconut milk is great. Time to make some delicious Thai Food!

It took about 10 tries to answer Yes and/or No where Alexa would hear it as an answer and not a search for a Show/App like the original voice search. Any tips on easier shopping using Alexa on the AFTV using the voice remote greatly appreciated.

That’s what I wasn’t sure about. Have heard her say $0.00 on a “few” items . Is it REALLY $0.00?

There is a $10 promotion awarded after your first order. Alexa automatically considers the credit and reduces the price of whatever she is presenting to you. So technically it’s free if it’s less than $10. Don’t just order because it’s free & you think she’s throwing you a bargain or perhaps there’s a fluke in her system. Same the credit for something you actually want.
