Amazon today announced that it will be expanding its original content efforts beyond television. Amazon will begin to produce original movies for theatrical release and make them available on Amazon Prime Instant Video in just 4 to 8 weeks after their theatrical debut. A typical movie usually takes at least 39 weeks for it be made available on subscription services. They are hoping to produce around twelve movies a year with production on the first movie starting later this year. Amazon says they “hope this program will also benefit filmmakers, who too often struggle to mount fresh and daring stories that deserve an audience.”

I Sure hope that every movie that make is not like all their original content full of nudity and tons of language. for years we had movies with great story lines without tons of language and now its like they can’t make one without a ton of language.
