Amazon Studios Greenlights Second Seasons of Four Original Kids Series


Amazon is continuing the push for original content. Hot off lasts week’s news of Amazon renewing Mozart in the Jungle for a second season and greenlighting five new shows, today Amazon announced they’ll be renewing four of their kids shows for a second season. The shows being renewed are Creative Galaxy, Annedroids, Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, and recent Annie Award winner Tumble Leaf. This move is a continuation of Amazon’s goal to make Prime membership its focus.

    never watched the Gortimer Gibbons show. But my kids loved Creative Galaxy, Tumble Leaf and Annedroids.
    this is great news.
    amazon is doing a great job with the original programming. i’ve been a prime members forever and would be even if they dropped everything but free 2 day shipping, but I’m loving all the extra goodness. got my Echo set up yesterday and will be using Prime Music now (didn’t really use it before).
