Amazon has received 11 Golden Globe nominations this year for their original movies and TV shows. That more than doubles last year’s 5 nominations, thanks most to their big movie Manchester by the Sea, which received 5 nominations on its own. Amazon’s original TV show Transparent received 2 nominations, as did Mozart in the Jungle.
