Amazon reveals more Black Friday 2018 prices and Start Dates — Fire TV Cube for $60, Echo Show for $180, and more

Yesterday, Target and Kohls released their Black Friday ads which gave us a peek at some of Amazon’s upcoming device deals. Amazon has now confirmed those prices themselves, as well as revealing more device deals and when each item’s sale will start. Some deals will start on November 16th, Fire TV related deals will start on November 18th, and most devices will go on sale on November 22nd. Top deals include the Fire TV Stick 4K for $34.99, the Fire TV Cube for $59.99, Echo Dot (3rd Gen) for $24, and the Echo Show (2nd Gen) for $179.99. Here are all Amazon device deals for Black Friday 2018 that have been revealed, along with when each sale price will go live.

Note that this is not a complete list. These are only the deals that Amazon has revealed so far. I’ll be doing my usual round-the-clock coverage of all sales and posting as soon as each one goes live. You can sign up for email notifications to know immediately when each sale goes live.

Ya darn tooten’ Echo Show 2 for $179! That should be permanent price tag 24x7x365! Way too overpriced @ $229. It just is! It’s not like there’s an over-abundance of video skills as it stands now to take advantage of the screen, to fully justify that high-price tag.

Kinda hurts to see the price of the Stick 4K already dropping after just paying 50.00.

It will go back to 50 after black Friday

I hear you. Cube owners feel bad too, believe me. The new voice remote is still $15 more for them if they got a discount. So $90 (prime day price) + $15 is now $60 with less performance than the 4k stick. Sadly, I may replace the Cube with the stick for performance reasons so little value left in the Cube. I take this as a sign that the Cube will be replaced as fast as the pendant. Lesson learned – wait a few months before buying and ensure the software works well.

Unless you don’t regularly follow these things, it shouldn’t have been too surprising.

NEVER buy Amazon stuff at full price unless you have to as they regularly get discounted.

    Thanks in advance!

Wonder if those of us with trade in discount will be able to take advantage of even lower price on black friday

I’ll keep hoping for a subwoofer deal. Also curious about their Echo timer wall clock, and especially the Echo Auto gadget.

I’m interested in the FireTV Recast, but will wait to see if it is discounted for Black Friday. I know it’s not even released yet, but I’d hate to pay full price and then see it discounted a week later.

Same here, and I want to see some hands on reviews, since the Cube doesn’t live up to it’s hype. I like the additional memory, but having everything routed through on USB port is kind of a kludge. Even the Raspberry Pi has a separate Ethernet port. With all the wifi signals in my area, it doesn’t work well for me, have to use hardware adapters.

The price you quoted for the Blink 3-camera Kit will not be a “new lowest price”. I bought it on July 17, 2018 for $215.27 as a deal-of-the-day.

  9. Shawn says:

Do you have any information if the new Alexa Voice Remote with power and volume controls also will be on sale?

  10. Bill says:

Will the Amazon Smart Plug be discounted at all without also purchasing an Echo device?

Would purchasing a Fire HD8 qualify for the discount on the price of the Smart Plug?

This is not the first time the 4K stick has been on sale. I pre-ordered mine for $39.99 just before launch.

  12. Edgar R says:

Anyone know if the 4K stick does dts passthrough? The “almighty” cube I have does not do dts 7.1 or truehd. I’m talking in regards to Kodi.
