Amazon has greenlit their original series Goliath for a third season, according to Deadline. The first season of the series was very well received and became the most binged first season of any Amazon original series. Show lead Billy Bob Thornton went on to win a Golden Globe for the series. The second season of Goliath, which has received decent critic reviews, was not well received by fans of the series. On Rotten Tomatoes, fans gave the first season a 91% fresh score, while the second season only received a 53% fresh score. It’s a similar story for reviewers on Amazon, where customers gave the first season a 4.7 out of 5 star rating, but gave the second season a paltry 2.7 star rating. The third season will premiere in 2019, but a release date has not been set.
