Amazon Prime Video gains over 100 seasons of 20 newly added reality TV shows

Amazon Prime members can now watch 20 reality TV shows through Prime Video, such as Hell’s Kitchen, Man vs. Wild, and more. The shows, which include over 100 seasons of combined content, are being added through Amazon’s Prime Video Direct platform (previously called Amazon Video Direct). FilmRise, a TV show distribution company, is using the self-service video platform to make their library of reality TV shows available to Prime members.

A few winners. I really like the reality stuff and between this type of shows,(ex Life Below Zero, Deadliest Catch) and Youtube apps I spend less time wrapped in factional stuff on Netflix these days.

Ugh… I cable cut way back in 2010 precisely because of all the reality nonsense, utter tripe…

Ah well, at least nowadays I won’t be forced to actually wade through it and its ads as I look for something to watch.

I was so excited until the word “Reality.” A complete waste of bandwidth.

I find I have access to so many good shows I don’t have time to watch them all. Thankfully this new list is shows will not add to any remorse.

Obviously no fans of reality here, but you have to at least take a look at River Monsters. It’s an excellent show, even if you have never fished. The host is cool and the action is interesting and entertaining. Admittedly, most of other new additions pretty much suck.

This is NOT a headline that encourages me to get Prime. One hundred seasons of trash TV…
