Amazon has announced that, effective immediately, Prime subscribers will receive unlimited cloud storage for photos. The new offering is, appropriately enough, called Prime Photos. Before today, photo uploads counted toward your available Amazon Cloud Drive storage space, of which everyone gets 5GB free. This is great news for Fire TV owners since uploading photos to your Amazon Cloud Drive is the only way to make your photos appear in the Photos section on the Fire TV.

Reminds me of the time they offered uploading of thousands of songs, then asked people to delete or pay. perhaps we should wait a month or 2.
