Amazon officially postpones Prime Day to later in the year

Amazon’s annual Prime Day sale usually takes place in July, but Amazon has now officially confirmed that the event will be postponed to later in the year. “This year we’ll be holding Prime Day later than usual, while ensuring the safety of our employees and supporting our customers and selling partners,” said a spokesperson for the company. Amazon said they will be having a discount event in India on August 6-7, but has not given a date for Prime Day in other regions. Prime Day is usually when we see the absolute lowest prices on Amazon devices. For reference, last year the Fire TV Stick was $14.99, the Fire TV Stick 4K was $24.99, and the Fire TV Cube (1st-gen) was $69.99 on Prime Day. I expect we’ll see those same prices for the Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick 4K this year. The current Fire TV Cube, being an all-new model, likely won’t be reduced quite as much as the old model was last year, so I’m expecting it to be priced around $89.99.

You may have already posted the specs on the new cube but just wondering what the difference is when compared to the very first fire cube which is what I presently have.
    Great to have you back!
