As expected, podcast integration has arrived for Amazon Music. Podcasts streaming is now available on Amazon Music in the US, UK, Germany, and Japan. Integration is not yet available in the Amazon Music app for Fire TV devices, but you can find it on the mobile app, web app, and Alexa devices at no cost.
Along with the integration of 70,000 existing podcasts and millions of podcast episodes, Amazon has announced a slate of originals that they’re producing and some exclusives. Among the originals is “The First One” where DJ Khaled interviews artists about their iconic hits. Musician Becky G will host “En la Sala” where she’ll discuss various topics with celebrities. Sportscaster Dan Patrick will host “The Scene with Dan Patrick” where he teams up with IMDb to discuss famous movie and TV scenes.
In addition to the originals mentioned, the podcast “Disgraceland” is making Amazon Music its exclusive home early next year. The show, hosted by Jake Brennan, explores various criminal connections in the music industry. The partnership will allow for a more regular cadence of weekly episodes.

Strange that it’s not on Fire Tv, Fire HD nor the Windows desktop app. Any ideas why they’ve excluded their own kit?
Probably to achieve the largest reach in the lowest amount of time. I expect that the vast majority of Amazon Music users are listening through the mobile app, so that got prioritized over other apps/platforms.
With the mobile app (iOS), the entire podcast feature is absent from CarPlay controls; a very odd omission mefeels. Podcasts while driving is, well, what life is all about.
