Amazon is continuing their Sundance Film Festival shopping spree with the purchase of the Todd Solondz-directed comedy Weiner-Dog. This brings their Sundance total up to five, making them the most aggressive studio at the festival. Netflix has picked up the second most films with their purchase of three titles. During the festival, Amazon has nabbed Author: The JT LeRoy Story, Love & Friendship, Manchester by the Sea, as well as Complete Unknown before the festival even started.

The addition of these five films brings Amazon’s total movie stable up to eleven. Spike Lee’s Chi-Raq is the first of them to make it to theaters and will be available to Prime members on February 4th. Their other movies include Creative Control, Paterson, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, The Neon Demon, Elvis & Nixon, and Desired Moments.
