Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $39.99 — 20% off

Amazon has put the Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $39.99. That’s 20% off the regular price of $49.99. If you’re a Prime member and can hold out until July, which is when the next Prime Day sale might take place, you’ll probably be able to get it for at least $10 less. However, if you need to pick one up sooner, then this sale will save you a bit. Alternatively, you can get the Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick 4K for $37.99.

Or, if you need one now, buy from Target for same price – 10% circle discount (https://www.target.com/circle/o/target-circle/-/336614) – RED card discount. Comes to about $34 before tax.

Off topic (kind of) but I was in my local Home Depot the other day and they literally had stacks of Echo Dot 3rd Gens and Firesticks (not sure of Gen) for half price on the dusty clearance shelf in the back of the store (ranging from $15-$25) Had to hit another Home Depot (one on every street corner) same thing. These would be unadvertised but I assume it would be the same deals elsewhere around the country. Shelf space is at a premium in big box stores and when they are done promoting a product they dump it like an ex-girlfriend.

    • Interesting. I’m guessing those had to be 2nd-gen Sticks. Might be worth picking up at $20 for the spare remote alone. I think a lot of big box stores, like Home Depot and Lowes, were betting on becoming the place to go to make your home “smart” so they piled up on things like Dots and Sticks.
