Several Fire TV Prime Day deals have now gone live, including the Fire TV Cube on sale for $109.99, which is 21% off its regular price of $139.99. This is the new lowest price that the latest Fire TV Cube has ever been, beating out the last best deal by $15. If you’ve been waiting for a significant sale on the most powerful Fire TV ever made, this is it. The 3rd-gen Fire TV Cube has it all, including WiFi 6E, an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a full-sized USB-A port for NTFS/FAT32 external storage, an HDMI-IN port, hands-free control, IR blasters to control your home theater, and much more. Simply put, no matter what streaming device you’re currently using, your apps will launch faster and work more smoothly if you switch to the Fire TV Cube, so get it now at the best price it has ever been. If the price is still too steep, consider the Fire TV Stick Max on sale for $24.99, which is also the new lowest price it has ever been.
Not going to buy any more Amazon FTV hardware as long as the upgrades/improvements are marginal compared to the prior models….
And as long as Amazon keeps trying to control what I can/do view on the home page of MY FTV devices.
@Elias – Do you anticipate the cube going lower for Black Friday or is this the lowest price for the year? Thanks
The Fire TV Cube is typically the same price on Black Friday as it was during Prime Day earlier in the same year. That’s what happened in 2022, 2021, and 2020. In 2019, it was more expensive on Black Friday than during Prime Day.
In other words, buy it now and don’t wait for Black Friday.
Thanks
One day itl be 99.99 I think that would sell a lot more at that sweet spot price.
Is this worth it to replace my gen2 cube?
If you have a place to move the 2nd-gen Fire TV Cube that will benefit from buying the 3rd-gen Cube, like replacing a Firestick with the 2nd-gen Cube, then it’s worth it. But if you’re just going to stick the 2nd-gen Cube in a drawer and it’s working fine right now, then don’t upgrade. The 3rd-gen Cube is only about 18% more powerful in raw performance, compared to the 2nd-gen Cube, so you’re not really going to see much of a difference with the upgrade.
Thanks Elias. I personally like to get the “latest and greatest” however I have all gen-2’s right now. So think I’ll probably just wait…
Unless you have a need for the HDMI ‘IN’ port, stay with the Gen 2. I love my Gen 2.
But…but…but that upscaling feature! haha
Thanks for your advice as well. I was wondering if there is much of a difference and you answered. I’ll wait for the next best cube
