Amazon’s ridiculously low priced Fire 7″ Tablet is now available in 3 new colors as well as a new 16GB model. The new colors are magenta, blue, and tangerine and cost the same as the original black version. You will, however, have to poney up a bit more for the new 16GB model which doubles the original 8GB internal storage. The 16GB model is priced at $69.99, with the 8GB still at $49.99. The Fire Kids Edition 7″ Tablet, which is the same tablet but comes with a 2-year no questions asked replacement guarantee, as well as other child related perks, is also now available in the new 16GB option for just $20 more. Amazon has also added a new green kid-proof case option to the previous blue and pink color options.
Is it still rootable?
Anybody know if there is a way to get Miracast capability with the Amazon tablets? Firesticks support Mirroring, and other Android tablets will cast screen, but these Amazon tablets do not have a cast screen option. Any app that can be installed to add Miracast functionality and work with Firestick mirroring?
