It’s definitely worth asking for a refund, but they’ve been declining refunds lately because there are several websites/services that have popped up that scan your email and automatically ask for such refunds for you and keep a cut for themselves. They’ve kind of ruined it for everyone who is diligent to keep track of things like price drops.
First two instances they refused, telling me to return the item and do a fresh order, but I managed to make them see how dumb it would be for them to deliver the same item twice and they accepted to refund me the $30!
Who knows whether it is a good idea to buy Amazon hardware like tablets.
