Thanks I just got one 8 days ago and called Amazon for the price reduction. Since it’s past seven days they didn’t want to do it so they did process a return for the one I had and my new one comes in a day or two. I spent the extra money on a charger but it’s thanks to you I got the deal.

    • Awesome. Yeah, Amazon got very strict a few years ago about credits/refunds due to sales because services popped up that automated the process of getting a post-purchase sale credit, in exchange for a cut of the savings. They basically tracked everything you bought from Amazon for you and if an item went on sale, they would send an automated email to Amazon asking for a credit. Interesting idea, but it flooded Amazon with robo-refund requests and ruined it for everyone who was legitimately price-conscious and tracked sales. Because of those services, they now require you to buy the item again at the discounted price and return the original purchase.
What I do when this happens is wait for the new 2nd purchase to arrive and return that one as the original 1st purchase. That way you don’t have to pack anything up. Just open the 2nd purchase box to drop in the RMA slip and send it back.
