The Amazon Echo Dot has been listed as “sold out” out for a month now, making some customers wonder if it has been discontinued. An Amazon representative has told CNET “I expect Echo Dot will be a big hit this holiday season, but I’ll have to ask you to stay tuned for more on availability.” So the Echo Dot will return later this year.
Despite requiring an Alexa device to order one, the Echo Dot became backordered immediately after its release. I’m expecting new Fire Tablets and Fire TVs to be released in the coming months, which is likely contributing to the delay in producing more Echo Dots.

Why would they pull the Dot product page from Amazon if they were going to bring it back later this holiday season? To prevent Prime Day tomfoolery?

i made buku money off these on ebay back when they were available. I was tempted to open one up but honestly i just cant trust it being hacked and basically bugging my own home
bought two and just gave one to my sister in law as a thanks for helping with the landscaping project. she was thrilled. after setting it up, said she feels like she had been living in a cave!
