Amazon has decided not to renew their original series The Dangerous Book for Boys, according to Deadline. The series, which was co-created by Bryan Cranston and Greg Mottola and based on the popular kids book of the same name, only aired one season. Reviews for the series weren’t bad but also weren’t stellar. It had a 71% fresh score with critics on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6.1 out of 10 score on IMDB, and a 3.7 out of 5 score on Amazon from a paltry 265 reviewers. The book first went into development as a series in 2004 and almost became a movie in 2007 until it was finally picked up by Amazon last year as one of their straight-to-series originals.
