Last week we heard rumors of Amazon having a big sale event to celebrate their 20th year in business. Today Amazon has confirmed the rumors by introducing Prime Day, a “global shopping event” to begin July 15th eastern time. The sales, which Amazon says will be bigger than BlacK Friday sales, will only be available to Prime Members in the US, the UK, SPain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, and Austria.
You can expect deals across every product category. Instead of all deals beginning simultaneously at midnight, and selling out before most people wake up, Amazon will be introducing deals, as fast as every ten minutes, throughout the day. If you aren’t a Prime Member yet, you may want to start your 30 Day Free Trial now so that you don’t miss out on a deal while you’re signing up the day of the event. Residents of the UK who sign up for Prime by July 8th get £20 off and pay only £59. I’ll be keeping track of deals all day and posting all Fire TV related deals, so be sure to check AFTVnews often on the 15th.
What are some good sites to track the deals that aren’t FireTV related? Like electronics, household items, clothing, and food?
