Amazon adds 5 new Prime Exclusive Phones from Nokia, Motorola, and Alcatel

Amazon has just added 5 new phones to their Prime Exclusive Phone program. This is the program where they offer Prime members new unlocked phones at heavily discounted prices in exchange for preloading the phones with Amazon apps and displaying ads on the lock screen. The new phones are the Nokia 6 for $179.99 ($50 off), Moto E4 for $99.99 ($30 off), Alcatel Idol 5S for $199.99 ($80 off), Alcatel A50 for $99.99 ($50 off), and Alcatel A30 Plus for $79.99 ($50 off).

If you’re a Verizon or Sprint customer, the Moto E4 is the only new phone that works on that network, although the Moto G5 Plus, Moto G4, and Moto G4 Play are older Prime Exclusive Phones that are still available and work with those networks. Amazon says that Verizon and Sprint versions of the Alcatel Idol 5S and a Verizon version of the Alcatel A30 Plus will be made available this summer.

All of these phones are listed as compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T, but some may work better on your particular network than others. For example, the Nokia 6 works with most of AT&T’s LTE bands, but not all, so you may get slightly better 4G speeds with one of the Alcatel phones in some areas.

Update

Here is a chart listing all Prime Exclusive Phones currently available.

Is there a comparison table, that includes both the new phones and the existing offerings? Or are the older phones being phased out? thanks
