Amazon has aquired the North American rights to Woody Allen’s next movie. The film, a yet untitled romantic comedy staring Steve Carell and Blake Lively, will receive a full theatrical run this summer and make it’s way exclusively to Amazon Prime Video shortly there after. This isn’t the first deal Allen has made with Amazon. The critically-acclaimed director signed on to write and direct his first TV series for Amazon a year ago. That show is expected to premiere on Prime Video later this year as well.
