All Fire TV models, as well as accessories, have been on sale all week as part of a larger Alexa Birthday Sale on nearly all of Amazon’s devices. The Fire TV Stick Lite is on sale for $17.99, which is 40% off of its regular price of $29.99. Also on sale is the Fire TV Stick 3 for $27.99, but you’re probably better off paying a couple of bucks more for the Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $29.99, which is also 40% off of its regular price of $49.99. For those willing to splurge on the best, the Fire TV Cube is on sale for $79.99. These are all the lowest prices we’ve ever seen, except for the Fire TV Stick 4K which has been $5 cheaper on one occasion. Also still on sale is the Fire TV Recast OTA DVR at $100 off, making it the lowest it has ever been. These sales are “available through Nov. 8th,” which, I assume, means they will end Sunday night at midnight, but it could mean they will end Saturday night.
The lite stick paired with a recast can be had for $148 and is compelling because the OTA guide is contained within the Fire TV ecosystem and the lite stick has the unique live TV button on the remote. If Amazon would allow more than one recast per account, I would be tempted to buy a recast and a lite stick for every TV in my house.
Why would you need a recast for every tv? They connect to your account.
Sorry I just realized my wording doesn’t make a lot of sense. I meant you only need 1 recast connected to one antenna and it will then stream to as many fire tv devices as you want.
With OTA you need more tuners since most of the popular shows are shown in prime time and are on at the same time.
You need more than 4 tuners?
