Has anyone actually been able to purchase any of these for $6.99? My screen shows them as $12.99 and no discount was applied when I actually purchased them. I was trying to get the 3rd and 4th movies.
That was yesterday, the 3rd. They are not on sale today.

The effects have held up so well precisely because they *weren’t* CGI. They were largely practical effects by the master, Stan Winston. There were a few CGI moments, like the stampede, but even that involved duplicating real-life physical models into a herd, rather than building a computer model from scratch.
that’s $21 well spent.
