English rap duo Too Many T’s have released a new song that features Alexa singing along, but instead of just including recordings of the voice assistant in the song, the track has been crafted in such a way that the Alexa device in your home will be triggered to fill in the necessary vocals. You can see it in action in this video (embedded above) or better yet, if you own an Alexa device, turn up your computer or phone speakers and play this interactive video to experience the full song first hand. Be sure your Alexa device is set to US English and that it’s close to the device playing the video. It also works best if you have follow-up mode disabled, but that’s not strictly required.

I’ll try it later. I use Echo as the wake word, because it causes way fewer unwanted wake ups.
Haha this video is a fail! My Dot doesn’t respond at all to the “are you happy” question or the drum roll one, but works fine when I ask it. A clever idea but not quite there.
Mine as doing the same until I turned off “Follow-up”…then it picked up everything! :) Its pretty neat.
Alexa missed most of the wake words. When I turned up the volume on the video, it was better, but then the music on the video would drown out Alexa’s replies.
