I asked Amazon about the ad sponsored phones, to see if the data use can’t be set to wifi only for the ads. The answer I got was unclear. They just said each ad was “approximately 300KB to 3MB”. This phone is going to be used on a paygo service, so I don’t want to get stuck inflating my bill at 6-9 cents per meg due to ads. I’m tempted to cancel my order.
