Just letting you know that firewall at work blocks http://aftvnewscast.aftvnews.com/feed/podcast/ for the content: pornography. And now I am in trouble with HR. please fix.
Thanks for the heads up. I need to know what software your company is using to be able to do anything about it.
Those lists are handled by the company who does the list/service. “AFTVnews” did not sign up to be put on a “pornography” list.
Does your HR consist of a human? Or is your HR a completely automated process? If it is a human, you can request they manually review the site. Unless they just want an excuse to fire you, there should be no issue.
When you are at work, work! Then some occasional porn wouldn’t be an issue. HR should give you a couple months off without pay.
Spoke to HR, explained what aftvnews is, looks like the process of blocking content is fully automatic based on the category of the website.
The filter is Fortiguard Filtering

Good news. I clicked on the link to re-evaluate the page content and after 10 mins it was changed to the “web hosting”. You may contact Fortiguard directly if you think it’s a wrong category.

Still blocked at my work though. Will report in 24 hours
Thanks for the info. It looks like they’re flagging the IP, and not the domain itself. The podcast is hosted on a separate shared plan because bandwidth is cheaper there than my main host. Most likely, a different website sharing the same host/IP was flagged for porn, and your companies service just flags all sites with the same IP.
What’s odd is their site has it listed as a “Shopping” site. http://fortiguard.com/iprep?data=aftvnewscast.aftvnews.com
