Greet Newscast,
in the video you say that there is no was to map the buttons in Kodi to stop or open Info, thats not true, there are a easy way to map it.
Just create a file called keyboard.xml an put it in “Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/keymaps” and remap the buttons to your like.
http://kodi.wiki/view/Keymap
There is also the possibility to map a longpressing on a button, as an example here is my keyboard.xml that i use: http://puu.sh/ot6nD/dbe0a6cb2b.txt
I use 2 different methods to change the volume, “volumeup/volumedown” are the real volume and “volampup/volampdown” are like a “boost”.
But if you take a look at the wiki you can change all buttons to your like and also you can map buttons only on a specific point in kodi like fullscreen video or homemenu.
Thanks for your work.
Thanks for this. I have been meaning to edit my key layout to allow for some other options like “stop”, etc . The long press could come in handy.
