Am I the only one that thinks this new atv is slower than the 1st gen? The menu navigation is not as snappy.
I think video playback is worse. Needs to be rebooted after I wake it up for network connection. It’s a mess.
I can say I’m pretty certain it loads Kodi faster, but I don’t notice much or any diff in the general gui navigation or reboot speed. Still surprised these boxes can’t boot faster, being all solid-state.
It dies load Kodi a little faster, but video playback isn’t right. Tried changing settings, but no luck. What do you think of video in Kodi with new box?
How is it “not right”? What is the issue you are seeing?
Return your new FTV and make $5?
I returned one of my two. Got an email to take a survey for $5 credit.
I got the survey also. I don’t think it has anything to do with returns.
Ditto. I got it too. It’s just a survey that has nothing to do with returns.
Has anyone worked out a fix for the fact that you can’t use custom DNS over WIFI on the new Fire TV 4K Boxes. I really need to be able to do this, but it keeps reverting back to the default DNS…
Any ideas of a fix???
It seems to only revert back if you’re using IPv6. If you can, try switching to IPv4.
