Amazon is continuing to trickle out Early Prime Day Deals as we get closer to the main sales event in just over a week. A new deal that went live this morning is the 50-inch Amazon 4-Series 4K Fire TV Smart TV for $259.99, which is 45% off the regular price of $469.99. The lowest price this TV has ever been in the past is $299.99, so this deal is $40 lower than that and a new all-time low price. This is part of Amazon’s own brand of smart TVs which were released late last year and are very likely manufactured by TCL. This is a 4K 2160p TV with support for HDR10, HLG, and AV1 decoding. It’s powered by the same MediaTek MT9020 (MTK T31) quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU and Mali-G52 MP1 504 MHz GPU as nearly every Fire TV Smart TV. It has 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There are 4 HDMI ports, of which one is eARC capable, and it has 802.11ac WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, optical audio out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 port. It also supports Apple AirPlay and Miracast for mobile casting and runs Fire OS 7. A good alternative to this TV is the 50-inch Pioneer 4K Fire TV on sale for $249.99, which is probably a cheaper quality TV overall but it has identical specs with the addition of Dolby Vision HDR support.
