This Old House releases Amazon Fire TV app with free full-length episodes

A new This Old House app has just been released for all Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices. While this news may not be exciting for most people, I’ve been a fan of the series ever since I was a little kid, so I’m happy to give it some attention. The app is free and doesn’t require any kind of TV subscription to watch full episodes of both This Old House and Ask This Old House. All episodes from Season 33 and 34 of This Old House are available in the app, as well as all episodes from season 10 and 11 of Ask This Old House. When you come across an episode that you want to keep track of, maybe because it covers a project that you’ve been wanting to tackle, you can mark the episode as a favorite to store it in a separate area of the app. There’s also a search feature if needed.

Paramount Network app arrives on Amazon Fire TV devices

Paramount Network has just updated their app to now support Amazon Fire TV devices. If you’re not familiar with the channel, that’s because it used to be called Spike TV until it was rebrand at the start of the year. That rebranding came with a shift in programming towards a wider demographic than the old male-centric Spike channel. Most of the content in the new app requires activating the app with a cable provider to watch. You’ll find reality shows, such as Lip Sync Battle and Ink Masters, in the app, as well as new original shows, like Yellowstone and Waco.
