Sideclick Universal Remote for Fire TV and Fire TV Stick back on sale for $14.99 — Lowest Price Ever [Expired]

The Sideclick Universal Remote is back on sale for $14.99. It was this price on Black Friday but sold out and then returned at a higher price. This price is the lowest it has ever been. The Sideclick attaches to the side of any Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote to provide a column of 8 programmable IR buttons. I’m a big fan of this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking to reduce the number of remotes they use. Everything you need to use the Sideclick with any Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote is included in the box, so you don’t need to worry about buying the correct remote. It’s also available from Best Buy for the same $14.99 price.

Sideclick Remote for Fire TV and Fire TV Stick is on sale for $22.49 [Expired]

The Sideclick remote, compatible with all Fire TV and Fire TV Stick models, is on sale for $22.49 at both Best Buy and Amazon. This is the second lowest price I’ve ever seen for the Sideclick, second only to the very short $19.99 sale in June. See my review of the Sideclick for everything you need to know about it, but essentially it’s a strip of programmable buttons that atatch to the Fire TV remote to turn it into a universal remote. I’m a big fan of the device ever since receiving mine through its successful Kickstarter campaign. Everything you need to attach it to any of the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick remotes is included in the box, so there’s no need to worry if you’re buying the right one. The only remote that the sideclick is not compatible with is the Fire TV Edition television remote.

Sideclick universal remote attachment does not fit the Fire TV Edition television’s remote

The Sideclick universal remote attachment is one of the best accessories for the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. That’s why it’s unfortunate that it does not fit the remote that comes with the Element Fire TV Edition television. While the Element’s voice remote looks a lot like the regular Fire TV voice remote, it’s a little thicker so does not fit into the Sideclick’s holster clip, which is contoured to perfectly fit the existing remotes. Jenn Epstein from Sideclick told me they don’t currently have plans to support the Fire TV Edition television remote, but are certainly consider making a clip for it. They have purchased a Fire TV Edition television to further look into supporting the device. The Fire TV Edition television remote has power and volume buttons, which for me was most commonly what I used the Sideclick for, but if you were hoping to attach a Sideclick to that remote, in order to control your other A/V equipment, I’m sorry to say you’re out of luck for now.

The Sideclick remote essentially is a strip of programmable buttons that attach to the side of a Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote to turn it into a universal remote. Sideclick Remote for Fire TV on sale for $19.99 [Expired]

The Sideclick remote for all Fire TV models is on sale for $19.99 at Best Buy. This is the first time I’ve seen this great universal remote available for less than the $29.99 regular price. See my review of the Sideclick for everything you need to know about it, but essentially it’s a strip of programmable buttons that atatch to the Fire TV remote to turn it into a universal remote. I’m a big fan of the device and have been using mine ever since receiving it through its successful Kickstarter campaign. Sideclick Remote for Fire TV & Fire TV Stick is now available exclusively at Best Buy

sideclick-review-all-fire-tv-remotes-header-800

Sideclick, the universal remote that attaches to the side of any Fire TV remote, is now available exclusively at Best Buy. Several people have asked me if I knew when the Sideclick would come back in stock at Amazon. While I don’t know the answer to that question, I can now tell you that the reason it’s out of stock everywhere is because, in order to get the Sideclick remote onto Best Buy’s shelves, the husband and wife team behind the successful Kickstarter project had to give Best Buy a period where they were the exclusive online retailers of the product. So, for the time being, Best Buy’s website is the only place you can buy the Sideclick remote. If you’re not familiar with the product, read my review. I’m a big fan of the Sideclick and it has had a permanent home on my main Fire TV in my livingroom.

You can check out my full review and the latest AFTVnewscast episode for my impressions of the device, but overall, I’m a big fan of the Sideclick remote and it has become a permanent part of my livingroom setup.

Sideclick Clip-on Universal Remote Review

sideclick-review-all-fire-tv-remotes-header-800

Sideclick is an attachment for any model Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote, that provides eight universally programable buttons which allow you to control your TV and other A/V equipment using one remote. The device came to be through a successful Kickstarter project and is now starting to ship to the thousands of backers that contributed to the campaign. I had a chance to review the prototype last year, but now that I’ve used the final product, I can pleasently say it’s the best purchase a Fire TV owner can make, if they want to reduce the number of remotes they use, without losing any Fire TV functionality. Read on for my full review as well as how you can enter to win one of two Sideclick remotes that I’m giving away. Read more ›
