Just as the last limited promotion ended, Amazon has started a new one. The Amazon Fire TV Cube has just gone on sale for $79.99 for Prime members. This sale price falls right in between the $69.99 sale that was only available to select customers and the $89.99 sale that was available to all customers. Also on sale for Prime members only is the Amazon Fire TV Stick for $24.99, which is just $5 more than the lowest price it has ever been.
Amazon is currently running their best sale ever for the Amazon Fire TV Cube. Select customers can buy the new flagship Fire TV device for just $69.99 by entering promo code FIRETVCUBE50 during checkout. This sale is $20 less than the previous lowest price and is $50 off of the regular list price. Not everyone will qualify to use the promo code and it is unknown why some people qualify and others do not. If you qualify, you’ll see a $50 discount appear after entering the code during checkout. This code is scheduled to expire tomorrow morning, Sept. 7th, at 9:00 am PT, so there is less than 24-hours left for you to use it.
Amazon is currently selling the Amazon Fire TV Cube for $69.99 to select customers who enter promo code FIRETVCUBE50 during checkout. The code does not work for everyone and it is unknown what makes some people qualify for this deal but not others. This price is the new lowest price that the Fire TV Cube has ever been. The previous lowest price for the Fire TV Cube was $89.99, so this is a significant discount. Just add the full priced Fire TV Cube to your cart and enter FIRETVCUBE50 in the promo code field on the checkout screen. You’ll either instantly receive a $50 discount or be told that you do not qualify. This promotion will end at 9:00 am PT on September 7th, so it’s only available for 3 days. (Thanks for the heads up Mike!)
The Amazon Fire TV is still on sale for $39.99 and the Fire TV Cube is still on sale for $89.99. These deals are very likely to end this weekend, so time is running out. At $39.99, the Fire TV is just $5 more than the lowest price it has ever been and $89.99 matches the lowest price that the Fire TV Cube has ever been. There are also several other Amazon devices on sale which include the Amazon Echo Show for $129.99, which is the lowest price it has ever been.
Amazon has just put the Fire TV Cube on sale for $89.99. This deal matches the lowest price the Fire TV Cube has ever been. This is the same price that the Fire TV Cube was reduced to for Prime Day, so it’s likely that we won’t see a price lower than this for some time. This is also the first time that Amazon has offered a price this low for the Cube to the general public. All past sales have been for Prime members only. Also on sale today is the Fire TV 3 for $39.99.
As I predicted, 3rd-party retailers are currently having a sale on all of Amazon’s devices. Best Buy, Target, Staples, B&H, Office Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, and others are currently matching the prices that Amazon had during Prime Day. The Fire TV Stick is $19.99, the Fire TV is $34.99, and the Fire TV Cube is $89.99. The entire lineup of Amazon Echo models, Fire Tablet models, and Kindle models are also on sale, including the kindle Oasis for $199.99. Even Amazon’s Cloud Cam and Blink XT cameras can be had for the same prices as Prime Day. If you missed out on Prime Day or couldn’t buy anything because you’re not a Prime member, here’s your last chance to get in on what are likely the best prices we’ll see until Black Friday for Amazon devices. Here is the complete list of sales for each retailer, with direct links to each device. Read more ›

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale for $89.99 for Prime Day. This price matches the introductory pre-order price we saw when the Fire TV Cube was first announced a few weeks ago and it’s the lowest price it has ever been. The Fire TV Cube offers the same 4K and HDR support as the Fire TV 3 Pendant, which is on sale for a new all-time low price of $34.99, but also includes hands-free Alexa, like an Echo Dot, and universal remote capabilities. If you’re interested in the Amazon Cloud Cam, which is on sale for $59.99, you can get a Fire TV Cube + Cloud Cam bundle for $149.98, which is $90 off the regular price. Most of Amazon’s devices are already on sale early for Prime Day.
Several people have been asking if the $35/$25 Trade-In Discount promotion that Amazon has been running for about a month works with today’s Prime Day sales on the Amazon Fire TV Cube and Fire TV. I can confirm that yes, if you traded in a streaming device like I instructed last month, you will receive $35 off of the $89.99 Fire TV Cube sale price or $25 off of the $34.99 Fire TV sale price today. Better yet, as you can see from the screenshot above, the $10 Whole Foods promotion also stacks, bringing the Fire TV Cube price down to $44.99 and making the Fire TV completely free. And don’t forget you received $2.99 in Amazon credit for the trade-in, making the final prices even lower.
Amazon has just started running a new “Trade up to Fire TV” promotion that will give you $35 off a new Fire TV Cube or $25 off a new Fire TV 3 (Pendant) when you trade in a Chromecast, Roku, or Apple TV. In addition to the discount, you’ll get $2.99 in Amazon credit, which brings the final out-of-pocket price of the Fire TV Cube down to $82. That’s even better than the Prime-only introductory pre-order price of $89.99. The final out-of-pocket price for the Fire TV 3 would be $42, which is less than any sale price that we have seen. Today is the last day for Prime members to save on the all-new Amazon Fire TV Cube. If you place your pre-order by midnight tonight, June 8th, you’ll save $30 and pay only $89.99. A limit of 3 can be purchased at this price. If you’re on the fence about buying the Fire TV Cube, I suggest placing a pre-order today and then making a final decision over the next couple of weeks. The Fire TV Cube doesn’t ship until June 21st, so you’ll have until then to cancel the pre-order if you change your mind. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign-up for a free 30-day trial to be immediately eligible for the $30 discount. Everyone who registers a new Fire TV Cube by July 1st will also receive a $10 Amazon Video credit for free.
