RPG classic CHRONO TRIGGER is now available on the Amazon Fire TV

The game CHRONO TRIGGER has just arrived in the Amazon Fire TV appstore. Originally released on the SNES, this role-playing game is ranked among the best games of all time. This Fire TV port is an upgraded version that features updated controls, graphics, and sound. It also includes two additional playable dungeons that were not in the original release. CHRONO TRIGGER is compatible with all three generations of the Fire TV as well as the Fire TV Edition television. It is, however, not compatible with any Fire TV Sticks and you’ll need a game controller to play.

Vostok Inc. is a new space shooter clicker game for the Amazon Fire TV


Vostok Inc. is an interesting new multi-layer game that has just arrived on all Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Edition television devices. As the newly appointed CEO of Vostok Inc, your goal is to become filthy rich. You do so by rasing money by blasting enemies and asteroids in your space ship and then use those funds to mine, terraform, and colonise planets. At its core it is a “clicker” game but adds a layer of twin-stick space shooting to the mix. The game requires a game controller to play but runs on all Fire TV devices.

Jade Empire: Special Edition has been released for the Amazon Fire TV 2. This is a very popular RPG that was originally released on the original Xbox. It’s a single player game with an estimated 40+ hours of gameplay. It’s unfortunately not compatible with the Fire TV 1 or the new Fire TV Stick 2, and as you’d expect, you’ll need a game controller to play.

Adventures of Mana by Square Enix released for the Amazon Fire TV

Adventures of Mana has just arrived on the 1st and 2nd-gen Amazon Fire TV. This game by award winning developer Square Enix is a modern remake of the original Game Boy title Final Fantasy Adventure. It’s an action role-playing game with fully remastered 3D visuals. This is a console calibur game with dozens of hours of gameplay, so the hefty price reflects it. Pick it up now, or wait for a possible sale in the future, which Square Enix is known to have. The game is not compatible with the Fire TV Stick and does require a game controller.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories released for the Amazon Fire TV

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories has just arrived on the Amazon Fire TV. This is the latest GTA game to be ported to mobile operating systems. It was originally released for the PlayStation Portable back in 2005 where it received mostly 9 out of 10 scores from top gaming publications like IGN and EuroGamer. This Fire TV version of the game has been remastered with high resolution graphic enhancements, so it should be even better than the original. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is compatible with both the 1st and 2nd-gen Fire TV, regardless of OS version, and requires a game controller to play.

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee has just been released for the 2nd generation Amazon Fire TV. This is the prequel to Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, which has been a very popular title among Fire TV gamers. It’s a bit odd that Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is not compatible with the 1st-gen Fire TV when Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath works on both new and old Fire TVs. Both of these games were originally released on the Xbox, so these are full console caliber games. This game is full of puzzles, depth, and a hilarious script.
