Amazon Store Card users can now use Alexa to manage their account

A new Alexa skill for the Amazon Store Card has been released, as first spotted by AndroidPolice. The skill allows you to get information about your card account using any Alexa enabled device. Amazon Store Card no longer automatically redeems 5% Cash Back

If you regularly shop on Amazon, it’s a good idea to have and use either the Amazon Store Card or Amazon Visa for all of your purchases because they earn you 5% cash back if you’re a Prime member and 3% cash back otherwise. One advantage of the Amazon Store Card over the Visa is that it automatically applied the cash back you earn to your statement as credit, whereas the Amazon Visa requires you to periodically go in and manually redeem the earned rewards. Unfortunately, the Amazon Store Card has recently enacted a change where all accounts will now accumulate a reward balance instead of automatically applying the earned cash back as statement credit.
