Reminder to spend your Amazon promotional credit before it expires today

You may have Amazon promotional credit that is expiring today. This is credit earned by buying certain apps or by opting for no-rush shipping for Amazon orders. You can check how much credit you have by clicking the “Check your balance” button on this page. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know how much of your credit is expiring today. If you’re like me and archive all your email, you can search your email for the phrase “credit must be used by January 31, 2016” to know exactly how much is expiring today. If you’re not sure what to buy, you can start by checking out Amazon’s digital music deals page.

I really only had $1 in mp3 credit that was expiring, and $5 vid/app credit that expires later in Feb. But I misinterpreted it and bought 3mp3s Thinking I had $6 mp3 credit + $5 vid/app credit. I wanted to save the $5 for a nice higher priced game or 2 games, but I spent 2.60 more than I wanted on the mp3s. It would have been better for me to never have seen this message. I atleast purchased 1 99cent game so now I only have $1.14 left from the $5 credit from December… there goes at least $3 wasted on the wrong thing.

Even worse, I forgot to use my Google play credit of $15 which also expired on Jan 31. I wish I was reminded much earlier.
