Prime Exclusive Moto X4 is on sale for $249.99 for Today Only — New Lowest Price Ever

The Moto X 4th Gen is on sale for $249.99 today only for Prime members. This is the Prime Exclusive Phone version of the Moto X4 that comes with Amazon apps preloaded but no longer has lock screen ads. The regular version of this phone is $399.99. The Prime Exclusive version has been $349.99 ever since it was released late last year, so this sale is $100 off the already discounted price. The Moto X4 is among the very few phones that feature hands-free Alexa. It packs in a Snapdragon 630 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz and a 650Mhz Adreno 508 GPU with a 1080p 5.2-inch IPS screen, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable through a microSD slot. The phone is available in either black or sterling blue, which looks more silver than blue, and works on all major US networks. This sale ends tonight at midnight.

Do you know if this will work with the Google Project Fi cell service? I bought my wife a moto4x for our account from Google direct, and there was no discount.

    • AFTVnews says:

Technically it’s not an approved phone, but it will work on Google Project Fi because it supports all the right frequency bands. As long as you have an already activated line, you will be able to put your SIM in this Moto X4 and it will work. What you can’t do is activate a brand new line using this Moto X4 phone. Google Project Fi requires that all new lines be activated to one of their approved phones (Pixels, Nexus, etc..). You also cannot use an approved phone that is already being used by an active line to activate a new line. For example, if you have a Pixel on Project Fi, you can’t add a new line and use your Pixel to activate that new line.

  2. Craig says:

That’s nice they decided to drop the price by $100 today…since I just paid $349 for it last Thursday… You can imagine how thrilled I must be right now? Especially knowing Amazon don’t price-match price-drops.

    What a joke?!

That’s sucks, but it happens to everyone. Get a credit card with price protection if you feel this is a big issue.

I’m tempted to pick one of these up, but I know the new models are being announced in a week or so.

    • AFTVnews says:

One option is to order a second phone at the current sale rpice and return it using the first phones receipt at the non-sale price. I did this for the Fire TV Edition television when it dramatically dropped on Prime Day a couple weeks after it was released.
