New Fire TV and Fire TV Stick app brings text, audio, and video RSS Feeds to your TV

The creator of the popular Remote Mouse app that turns your smartphone into a virtual mouse for the Fire TV, has just released a new RSS reader app called Feeds for Fire TV. The new app, which is compatible with both the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, lets you view audio, video, and text RSS feeds on your TV. You can enter your own audio or video feeds, like from your favorite podcasts, and stream the content right from your Fire TV device. You can even enter regular website feeds and read your news using your Fire TV. Here are some AFTVnews feeds to try out:

The only thing this app has going for it is that it is pretty much the only game in town for what it does (or one of the very few). Other than that, it is mediocre at best.

Is there an android TV equivalent? I like the app, and I’m using it on my FireTV. I would like to have something similar on my Android TV box.
